Customers & CRM

WazBot keeps a record of every person who interacts with your business so you always have context. The CRM brings together customers, leads, profiles, tags, and history in one place.

Verified from product architecture
This article describes the CRM conceptually. The exact fields, tabs, and controls in your workspace may vary by plan and by the current version of the application.

Customers and leads

  • A customer is any contact WazBot knows — typically identified by their WhatsApp number.
  • A lead is a contact who has shown interest, often captured through a funnel form. A lead can become a customer as the relationship develops.

Profiles

Each customer has a profile that gathers what you know about them — name and contact details, tags, and a history of conversations and activity. Profiles update as new interactions happen, so teammates and your AI agent work from the same context.

Tags and segmentation

Tags let you label customers (for example by interest, stage, or source) so you can group and find them later. Segmentation uses those attributes to build audiences — useful for targeting a campaign or deciding which automation should run.

Lifecycle and qualification

Customers typically move through stages as they engage — from a new lead, to qualified, to an active customer. Qualification can happen automatically through automation or manually by your team. The exact stages available depend on your plan and configuration.

Assignment and identity

  • Assignment — a customer or conversation can be owned by a specific teammate (see Teams & Assignment).
  • Identity — WazBot tries to keep one record per real person so history is not split across duplicates.
Availability
CRM capabilities such as custom tags, segmentation, and lifecycle stages depend on your plan. If a feature is not shown in your workspace, it may not be enabled for your subscription.
