Funnel Leads & Forms

Forms are how a funnel captures information from visitors. Each submission becomes a lead in your CRM, ready for your team or your AI agent to follow up.

Verified from product architecture
This article describes lead capture conceptually. The exact form fields, validation options, and consent controls in your workspace depend on your plan and the current version of the application.

Lead capture

A form collects the details you need — such as name, phone number, or a question — and creates a lead record. WazBot links the lead to a customer so future conversations keep the same history.

Validation

  • Required fields — make sure essential details are provided.
  • Format checks — for example, a valid phone number or email.
  • Duplicate handling — WazBot tries to match a submission to an existing customer instead of creating a duplicate.

Consent

Collect consent responsibly
When you collect contact details, make it clear how you will use them and get consent to message the person on WhatsApp. This protects your customers and helps keep your WhatsApp number in good standing.

Attribution

Each lead is attributed to the funnel (and where possible the source) that produced it, so you can see which funnels generate the best leads. This feeds your Analytics.

Qualification and thank-you

  • Qualification — leads can be scored or tagged automatically (see Automation) or reviewed by your team.
  • Thank-you step — after submitting, a visitor can be shown a confirmation and sent into a WhatsApp conversation to continue.
